About Jason Unger
I've always been a Web guy. Ever since I started my first site on Geocities in 1996, I knew Web publishing was what I loved doing. And yes, I did the work in my parents' basement.
Of course, what I do didn't really have a name back then — okay, maybe a webmaster — but combining site production, content creation, management and growth with an entrepreneurial drive led me to learn all of the sides of Web publishing.
When I went to college, there was no track for what I wanted to do, but studying journalism — in Boston University's College of Communication — was a useful skill to have. By the time I was a senior, I was teaching my peers the ins and outs of multimedia journalism — site creation, audio/video editing, and Web publishing.
So not only did I learn to write, I also found a passion for creating and publishing audio and video content (an even better skill to have now that I have a daughter).
I founded Junger Media LLC in 2008 to provide superior management, service and product development to anyone with an online presence — from small businesses to non-profits to bloggers — using Wordpress.
And as much as I love doing the work, I love showing people how they can accomplish their dreams online, too. If there's something you want to do online, I can help make it a reality.
