Projects Update: July 2014

As the summer heats up, so do we. July’s been an eventful month, with a lot of great stuff happening this summer.

First up – we just launched our second app for our clients at Fanspeak, the On the Clock Fantasy Football Simulator. Building off of the success of the On the Clock Draft Simulator (crazy stats described in our June Projects Update), this app lets fantasy football owners simulate their upcoming drafts. The user selects how many teams in their league, their scoring system and league type, and the positions they’ll draft for; they select their players while the simulator picks the other teams’ players.

With the NFL season starting in early September, it’s sure to get a ton of traffic and usage in August.

This week, we launched the new website for the Foresight Alliance. We’ve been working with their team of futurists to set them up with a new, beautiful responsively designed site. Their previous site design hadn’t been refreshed in quite a while, so this is a big step forward for them. Check it out – we predict you’ll like it.

We’ve launched new email marketing campaigns for two of our clients – American Vacuum Company and Dr. Esther Rubin Holistic Dentistry. Both are built on Mailchimp, our email marketing provider of choice. You know that we’re big, big believers on needing to reach out to your customers and potential customers on a regular basis, and for as much as people talk about the death of email, it’s still the most effective way to communicate online.

July was also our first month working with the great team at the Jewish Social Service Agency, managing their newly-launched site. As we’ve talked about, launching a site is not the end — it’s really the beginning — and we’re excited to help them continue to develop and grow their site. (If you haven’t seen it already, definitely take a look.)

On the design front, we’ve designed multiple presentations for clients, implementing our presentation design best practices along the way.

There’s a bunch of good things happening we’re not quite ready to announce, but stay tuned — we think you’ll like them.
